An authorized translator confirms the accuracy and completeness of a certified translation. It includes a certification statement, signature and stamp. This is different from certifying a copy of the original document.

A readable scan or complete photograph is generally enough to order online. Whether the translator must see the original and whether the receiving organization needs a paper copy depends on the document and its intended use. Check special requirements with that organization beforehand.

Available source and target languages appear in the language selector after uploading. Select the pair for your document. If your language is unavailable or the receiving organization requires particular supporting evidence, contact us before ordering.
Costs and price calculation
The price depends on factors including word count and language pair. Certification, printing and mailing are additional itemized costs when selected. Upload your document and choose the target language to see the total. All items and VAT are shown before payment. A minimum order value may apply.
Multiple-page documents are not charged at a flat rate per page. Analysis counts words across the submitted pages. Check the document type, word count and number of documents; request a personal review if anything is unclear.
Certification and acceptance
It includes the authorized translator's certification statement, signature and stamp. The receiving organization decides which version you must submit. A PDF and a paper copy do not necessarily meet the same requirements in every procedure.
Many official procedures require certified translations, but acceptance cannot be guaranteed for every authority and country. Ask beforehand about the language, translator qualifications, paper copy and any additional supporting evidence required.
The certification statement identifies who confirmed the accuracy and completeness of the translation. Many official procedures require this, for example when submitting certificates or academic records. Still, check with the receiving organization which documents will be sufficient in your case.
No. Obtaining an apostille cannot be ordered through Clicktranslate. If your document already has one, upload it too so it can be included in the translation. An apostille, legalization and a certified translation are separate services. Ask the receiving organization whether additional evidence is required and which authority provides it.
Processing and delivery
We process orders Monday through Friday and generally plan for around three working days. Document length, readability and special requirements may affect processing time. Mailing takes additional time for certified translations. If you have a fixed deadline, check with our team before ordering.
The digital translation is provided electronically. If you order certification with mailing, a certified paper copy is also sent to the delivery address. Postal delivery takes additional time. Ask the receiving organization whether a digital version is sufficient or a paper copy must be submitted.
Contact our team before ordering and tell us the document, language pair and deadline. The current online checkout does not offer a separate express option. Urgent processing must be agreed individually and is not automatically promised with an online order.
